Release notes DartCounter v8.8.3

Fixes & Tweaks

Gameplay

  • The mastercaller now correctly announces who's starting the game, no more mix-ups at the first throw.
  • Editing a single dart's score now saves correctly and no longer reverts to the original value. Your adjustments stick as they should.
  • Adding a new game to the lobby now correctly uses your current setup, instead of carrying over settings from your previous match.
  • DartBot now reliably joins and starts playing in local games—no more “bot didn't activate” moments. Add it, start the match, and you're off.
  • If your connection dropped while submitting a score online, the loading spinner could hang around forever. That's now fixed, it will properly disappear when the connection is lost.

Tournaments

  • Winning a tournament match 3–0 no longer causes a crash—the match now closes cleanly and advances as expected.

Camera & Smart devices

  • After a bull-up using an Omni, you'll now smoothly enter the match without ever missing your first throw.
  • In rare cases, Omni could send your score twice, giving you an unintentional double hit. We've added an extra check to make sure each throw is counted only once.
  • If you're signed in on the website while setting up your external camera, you'll no longer get prompted to enter a game. No more interruptions while streaming your camera.

Subscription & Accounts

  • Players on iOS can once again sign in using Facebook Login, quick and easy access is back.

UI & Interface

  • Returning to the global lobby after minimizing the app no longer triggers the "Can't reconnect" message, you'll rejoin smoothly every time.
  • The last 5 matches list now shows your real opponents again, it no longer looks like you were playing against yourself.
  • The win/loss colors are back where they belong. Green for a win, red for a loss. No more mixed signals in your last 5 matches.
  • Removing a game while someone sends a join request at the same time no longer causes a stuck dialog, the interface now handles it smoothly.
  • The single-dart input screen no longer shows an extra space at the bottom, everything fits neatly on your display again.
  • If you minimize the app while watching a match, you'll now return to the correct state. No more getting stuck in an already finished game.
  • When you try to join a lobby game and the list updates or reshuffles, your invite status will now stay exactly where it belongs. No more showing up on the wrong match.
  • Finding friends just got easier. We've added proper pagination to the search, so you can now scroll past the first 25 results and discover everyone you're looking for.
  • We've brought back the “D” and “T” prefixes for single dart input. You'll now see Double (D) and Triple (T) clearly shown again when entering your scores.
  • In the online lobby, multiple join requests could cause the approve/decline popup to stay stuck on screen. We've fixed that, the popup now closes properly after handling requests.
