Dartbot now more human, les predictable and fully custom

Players have played the DartBot for years. It’s been reliable and steady. Yet, after years it’s time for an update.
As of today, DartBot received a proper upgrade. It’s no longer just a level with a number attached to it. We’ve built real character into it. Each level now feels like a completely new opponent. The steady scorer. The risky finisher. The one who suddenly finds a big visit out of nowhere.
Because that’s what real opponents do.
More ways to play
Additionally, the DartBot is no longer limited to Match and Cricket. Instead, users can now take on DartBot in Around the Clock, Bob’s 27, Halve-It and Shanghai as well.
Different formats. Different pressures. Different challenges.
Whether users are sharpening their doubles or chasing trebles under pressure, there’s now more than one way to challenge yourself.
Meet the Custom DartBot
Then there’s the custom Dartbot. For the first time, players can build their own DartBot from the ground up. Using simple sliders, they decide who stands at the oche opposite of them.
Adjust the checkout percentage and hit rate for Match. Players can fine tune how their opponent selects targets, giving more focus to singles, doubles, trebles, or specific finishes. The 3 dart average and scoring average are automatically adjusted based on these settings.
Control the overall hit rate for Around the Clock, Bob's 27, Halve It and Shanghai. Adjust the chance of hitting a target to match the desired difficulty level.
‘’Push for the higher levels, build it up from level 1 or create the perfect opponent, it’s your choice. Either way, DartBot will be happy to meet you on the Oche.’’
- Ruben Hoogmoed, Developer at DartCounter.
Built for real darts
A digital opponent feels like a real one. More character. More variation. More moments that make you mutter, ‘fair play.’
The updated DartBot, including the fully customisable bot, is available now in the latest version of DartCounter on iOS, Android and Web.
Time to step up to the oche.
