Release notes DartCounter V9.4.1
What’s New & What’s Fixed: DartCounter v9.4.1 update
8 June 2026
Highlights
Verified Tournaments
Last update, we added more visibility to tournaments hosted by Target Darts. Now, we're extending that idea with Verified Tournaments.
Verified Tournaments are hosted by trusted members of the DartCounter community who consistently strive to deliver the best tournament experience possible. These events are highlighted with a distinctive border around the tournament card, making it easier to discover organisers who are committed to host high-quality competitions.
We're happy to announce that the first Verified Tournaments will be hosted by Zack from In The Mud Sports, with more trusted organizers expected to join in the future.
Fixes & Tweaks
Gameplay
- Fixed an issue where saved local games could not always be resumed. You can now continue your saved match exactly where you left off.
- Fixed an issue where the “Player is not connected” message could remain visible during an online match even after both players had successfully connected. No more phantom disconnects.
DartBot
- Fixed an issue where the hit and miss sound effects could still play even when DartBot sounds were turned off. Silence now means silence.
- Fixed an issue where DartBot would not properly wait for the Mastercaller’s “You require…” announcement before throwing. The caller now gets the final word before DartBot steps up to the oche.
- Fixed an issue that could break the Share Match Result option after playing against DartBot. Your victories (and defeats) can now be shared properly again.
- Fixed an issue where undoing after DartBot had already won a leg could cause it to throw into negative scores. DartBot now knows when a leg is over and keeps its maths in check.
- Fixed an issue where DartBot could stop responding after pressing undo at the start of a leg when it had the throw. It will now step back up and continue the game as expected.
- Fixed an issue where DartBot could start throwing while the game was still loading. It will now wait for the match to begin before launching its attack on the scoreboard.
- DartBot has been spending some extra time on the practice board. We’ve rebalanced its Double In gameplay to provide a fairer and more consistent challenge.
- Fixed an issue where Custom DartBot could still be affected by certain penalties even when it shouldn't be. This could cause stronger custom setups to perform below their intended level. Custom DartBot will now play much closer to the settings you've selected.
- Fixed an issue where DartBot could appear with a strange name on the Head-to-Head screen before a match if it had been your opponent in one of your recent games. DartBot now properly introduces itself every time.
Statistics
- Fixed an issue where Best Leg bracket statistics could ignore the upper limit of a bracket range, causing some results to be placed incorrectly. The brackets now score every leg in the right category.
- Fixed an issue where some statistics, including Best Leg, Checkout Percentage, 3-Dart Average, and First 9 Average, were not always calculated correctly. The numbers should now be right on target.
Tournaments
- Finished a tournament match? The match details will now become available automatically. No more refreshing the bracket just to see what happened.
- Added a new tournament filter that lets you quickly distinguish between Official and Unofficial tournaments. Finding the right tournament just got a little easier.
