Release notes DartCounter V9.6.0
What’s New & What’s Fixed: DartCounter v9.6.0 update
11 Augustus 2026
Highlights
Ranked mode
Ready to see how you stack up? Ranked brings structured, competitive online darts to DartCounter, giving every game a little more to play for.
Take on other players in 501 Best of 5 legs matches, earn Ranked points and work your way from Bronze all the way up to Diamond. Every win pushes your rating higher, while a loss can send you back down the ladder.
Each season starts with 10 placement games to determine your starting rank. From there, every match counts as you climb the global leaderboard, chase a new personal best and try to finish the season as high as possible.
Ranked is split into four seasonal competitions, Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn, with your results saved so you can look back at previous ranks, ratings and performances. Seasonal badges and trophies give you something extra to show for the climb.
A camera is required for all Ranked matches, while players with a connected Omni can use automatic scoring and optionally search for other Omni players.
Ranked is available with an active DartCounter Ultimate subscription. Time to step up to the oche and see where you belong.
Please note: Ranked will launch with a Beta Season lasting approximately 3–4 weeks. We’ll use this period to gather your feedback, fine-tune the experience and improve Ranked as much as possible ahead of its official launch. So get involved, put Ranked through its paces and let us know what you think!
Fixes & Tweaks
Gameplay
- Added a new layout option for online matches. Layout 5 places the Omni view below the player section, giving you another way to set up your match screen.
DartBot
- Updated the DartBot algorithm to reduce those unusual swings where a low-scoring first visit was followed by a much higher second visit. Its scoring should now feel more consistent and natural.
- Updated the DartBot algorithm to reduce sudden scoring spikes during the checkout phase. Its finishing attempts should now feel more consistent with the level you’re playing against.
Statistics
- Replaced the win/loss pie chart in Statistics with a bar chart, making your results easier to read at a glance. We’ve also removed the slider alongside it, freeing up space and keeping the focus on the stats that matter.
UI & UX
- Added an option to minimise the Heatwave dashboard card, giving you a cleaner dashboard when you don’t need it in view.
