Release notes DartCounter V9.6.2

What’s New & What’s Fixed: DartCounter v9.6.2 Update

26 August 2026

Highlights

Improved Ranked Leaderboards

See how you stack up against the competition with new ways to explore the Ranked leaderboards.

You can now switch to a Friends leaderboard to compare your rank directly with your friends, making it easier to see who’s leading the way. We’ve also added a country filter, so you can see how you rank against other players in your country.

Whether you’re chasing your friends or aiming to climb the national rankings, it’s now easier to see exactly where you stand.

Ranked Rewards

Ranked now has its own dedicated Rewards page, giving you a clear overview of the rewards available and your progress towards unlocking them.

To unlock the rewards for a tier, you’ll need to play at least 10 Ranked games while in that tier. For example, if you’re in Silver, play 10 games in Silver to secure the Silver rewards.

Climb to a higher tier before reaching 10 games? No problem. Rewards from the previous tier will be unlocked automatically, regardless of how many games you played there.

And once you’ve unlocked a reward, it’s yours to keep. So if you secure your Silver rewards and later drop back down to Bronze, you won’t lose them.

At the end of the season, all the Ranked rewards you’ve earned will be awarded to you.

  • Added the option to reconnect your Omni while on a break, giving you more time to reconnect without having to rush during your turn.

Ranked

  • Added a visual indicator when you have an active penalty in Ranked, along with a tooltip explaining what the penalty means.
  • Added a warning pop-up explaining that incorrectly declining an edit request in Ranked may result in a penalty.

  • Fixed an issue where some players could see a different camera view from the one shown to their opponent.

Tournaments

  • Fixed an issue where checkout rate was not calculated correctly for tournament games.

  • Disabling the Versus Omni setting in Ranked no longer incorrectly triggers the Omni activation dialogue.
  • Moved the starting player indicator next to the legs/sets indicator and repositioned the Edit button closer to the total score for a clearer match layout.
