Halve-It darts rules (how to play)

Halve-it is a darts game with changing targets each round. The rules of Halve-it are simple. In each round, there’s a specific target you must hit with your darts. One round might challenge you to hit a 20, the next to hit any double, then possibly to three different colours on the board, or to even throw an exact total with your three darts.

If you hit the target, you score points as normal (doubles and trebles count). But here’s the twist. If you miss the target completely, the Halve-it scoring rule kicks in and your total score is cut in half.

For example: if you’ve got 80 points and you fail to hit the target in a round, you’ll drop 40 points. The game takes you through various targets and the player with the highest score at the end wins. It’s darts with a twist: every round is a new challenge and every throw counts. 

Game settings

You can choose the target sequence. Use a standard preset list of targets or mix it up with random targets each game. This makes it even more unpredictable than the standard sequence. You won’t know what your next target is, which keeps it exciting until the very end.
