121 Checkout Darts: Train your checkout

Looking to sharpen your finishes under pressure? This checkout training game challenges you to take a starting score down to zero within a limited number of darts. Clear the score in time and the next round gets harder. It’s a simple and effective way to practice real match checkouts, improve your doubles, and build confidence in your finishing game.
What is 121 Checkout?
This focused darts game trains one key skill: finishing. You start on 121 and try to check out to zero within a set number of darts. The classic setup gives you nine darts. If you succeed, your next round begins from a higher score. If you fail, you return to your start goal. This creates a clear practice game for your checkouts.
Game settings
DartCounter lets you adjust the drill to match your level. You can choose your starting score, stick with 121, or set a higher number for a tougher start. You can also choose how many darts you have per attempt. Nine is standard, but limits like three or six make the game harder.
Choose how many rounds you want to play, or keep going without a limit. After each successful finish, the target score increases by a number of points to your choosing. A bigger increase means a higher required checkout in the next round, making the game more challenging.
Safehouse rule
Protect your progress with a safehouse. A safehouse locks in your improvement so you don’t drop back after reaching a new finish. You can choose from different savehouse rules:
- Back to start: No safehouse. If you miss a checkout, you drop back to your start score.
- After check with 3 darts: Your progress is protected after a checkout in 3 darts or fewer.
- After check with 6 darts: Your progress is protected after a checkout in 6 darts or fewer.
- After three checks in a row: Your progress is protected after 3 successful checkouts in a row.
- After five checks in a row: Your progress is protected after 5 successful checkouts in a row.
- After each check: Every successful checkout becomes a safehouse, you can’t drop back afterwards.
